Major Disaster/Accident in BALCO, Chatisgarh, India

Are we still living in Jungle days, meaning are we ready to learn?
Why so many worker/ front line engineers only has to die in this kind
of mishap?
Why Our politicians were so promt in announcing 1lakh rupee support
after death of a person?
Let us ask our concerned fraternity that oor politicians should immediately
impose 1 crore penalty on owner/ principal employer of that establishment.
Do you agree the same?

  1. As long as we continue serving Mammon, (the God of money), such accidents will continue to happen. Balco management will find even a fine of Rs 1 Crore peanuts.
Aluminium smelting is lucrative and all safety norms are generally thrown to the winds inorder to increase production.

  2. I agree with Rac but I feel that the fear of Dharma was more prominent in controlling the corruption in past which now has taken the back seat. The more corrupt people have started finding the corruption in Dharma and Judiciary to supress the controlling power. I hope that it is the time when people should start creating a fear in minds of humans. I think that is the way we can think of absolving corruption.
